Normally on my blog, I write down a funny story, weird insight, complain, or posts a video that amused me that day. However, today was all over the place. So, I woke up today to the sweet sounds of 10 AM and promptly went to my desk to study for my history final...which I complain about CONSTANTLY to my review packet...and to people on Facebook.
Then, later in the afternoon, my mother went and came back form the library with a movie I had requested, "The Day After Tomorrow." I took a break for lunch then, and popped in the movie for a little teaser before I go back to studying. The movie is essentially about...the world ending through extreme weather conditions. I suddenly thought...I could TOTALLY plan my essay while listening to this movie...cuz I'm an EXCELLENT procrastinator. However, as I was watching...it put things in perspective. "Look what these people are going through....if they can survive their world coming to an end...I CAN SURVIVE THIS ESSAY!!!"...And I did.
Then....we went shoe shopping. Just cuz.
We came home, had an early Father's Day dinner (I don't know why) and in that dinner., my parents start talking about how they want to update their will. This. was. so. awkward. They were wondering about custody if they died. My brother would get me. Awk.
Then, my brother proceeded to give me some weird advice. Did you know that if you have acne, if you put toothpaste on your whiteheads...your acne goes away? Well, I'm trying it now...and I feel extremely stupid for having dried toothpaste on my face...but it feels like its working. Who woulda thunk it?...Apparently my new parental guardian. Yikes!
A weird day indeed.
